　　Legal translation is very professional, there are many things to pay attention to. Now Beijing Translation Company will tell you what prohibited words can not appear in legal translation.

　　1、在法律新聞稿件中涉及到如下對(duì)象時(shí)不宜公開(kāi)報(bào)道其真實(shí)的姓名：

　　1. It is inappropriate to publicly report the real names of the following subjects in legal press releases:

　　(1)犯罪嫌疑人的家屬;

　　(1) The family members of the suspect;

　　(2)案件所涉及到的未成年人;

　　(2) The minors involved in the case;

　　(3)案件所涉及到的婦女和兒童;

　　(3) Women and children involved in the case;

　　(4)采用人工受精等其他輔助生育手段的孕、產(chǎn)婦;

　　(4) Pregnant and lying-in women who use artificial fertilization and other assisted reproductive means;

　　(5)嚴(yán)重的傳染病患者;

　　(5) Patients with serious infectious diseases;

　　(6)精神病患者;

　　(6) Psychiatric patients;

　　(7)被暴力脅迫賣淫的婦女;

　　(7) Women who are coerced into prostitution by violence;

　　(8)艾滋病患者;

　　(8) AIDS patients;

　　(9)有吸毒史或是被強(qiáng)制戒毒的人員。

　　(9) Persons with a history of drug abuse or compulsory detoxification.

　　涉及這些人時(shí)，法律翻譯稿件中可使用其真實(shí)的姓氏加“某”字指代，如“張某”、“李某”，不宜使用化名。

　　When referring to these people, legal translation manuscripts can use their real surname plus the word "certain", such as "Zhang Mou" and "Li Mou", and should not use aliases.

　　2、對(duì)于刑事案件的當(dāng)事人來(lái)說(shuō)，在法院宣判其有罪之前，不能使用“罪犯”，而應(yīng)該使用“犯罪嫌疑人”。

　　2. For the parties in criminal cases, before the court convicts them, they should not use "criminals" but "criminal suspects".

　　3、在民事和行政案件當(dāng)中，原告和被告的法律地位是平等的，原告可以起訴，被告也可以反訴。不能使用原告“將某某推上被告席”等這樣帶有主觀色彩性的句子。

　　3. In civil and administrative cases, the legal status of the plaintiff and the defendant is equal. The plaintiff can prosecute and the defendant can counterclaim. It is not possible to use such subjective sentences as the plaintiff's "putting somebody on the dock" and so on.

　　4、在法律翻譯稿件中不得使用“某某黨委決定給某政府干部行政上撤職、開(kāi)除等處分”，可使用“某某黨委建議給予某某撤職、開(kāi)除等處分”。

　　4. In legal translation manuscripts, it is forbidden to use "a certain Party committee decides to dismiss or dismiss a government cadre from office" or "a certain Party committee suggests that a certain Party committee should be dismissed or dismissed from office".

　　5、不要將“全國(guó)人大常委會(huì)副委員長(zhǎng)”稱作“全國(guó)人大副委員長(zhǎng)”，也不要將“省人大常委會(huì)副主任”稱作“省人大副主任”。各級(jí)人大常委會(huì)的委員，不要稱作“人大常委”。這樣翻譯會(huì)有歧義產(chǎn)生。

　　5. Do not call "Vice-Chairman of the Standing Committee of the National People's Congress" as "Vice-Chairman of the National People's Congress", nor "Vice-Chairman of the Standing Committee of the Provincial People's Congress" as "Vice-Chairman of the Provincial People's Congress". Members of standing committees of people's congresses at all levels should not be called "standing committees of people's congresses". In this way, ambiguity will arise in translation.

　　6、“村民委員會(huì)主任”可以簡(jiǎn)稱為“村主任”，不能稱“村長(zhǎng)”。村干部也不能翻譯成“村官”。

　　6. "The director of the villagers'committee" can be abbreviated as "the village director", not "the village head". Village cadres can not be translated into "village officials".

　　7、在案件報(bào)道當(dāng)中指稱“小偷”、“強(qiáng)奸犯”等時(shí)，不要使用其社會(huì)身份作為前綴。如：一個(gè)曾經(jīng)是工人的小偷，不能翻譯成“工人小偷”;一名教授作了案，不要翻譯成“教授罪犯”。

　　7. When alleging "thieves" or "rapists" in case reports, do not use their social identity as a prefix. For example, a former worker's thief can not be translated into "worker's thief"; a professor has committed a crime and should not be translated into "professor's criminal".

　　8、法律翻譯稿件中涉及到國(guó)務(wù)院機(jī)構(gòu)中的審計(jì)署的正副行政首長(zhǎng)可翻譯成“審計(jì)長(zhǎng)”、“副審計(jì)長(zhǎng)”，不能翻譯成“署長(zhǎng)”、“副署長(zhǎng)”。

　　8. The chief executive and deputy chief executive officers of the Audit Office in the institutions of the State Council involved in the legal translation manuscripts may be translated into "the Auditor-General" or "the Deputy Auditor-General", but not "the Director-General" or "the Deputy Director-General".

　　9、各級(jí)檢察院的“檢察長(zhǎng)”不能翻譯成“檢察院院長(zhǎng)”。

　　9. The term "chief procurator" of procuratorates at all levels cannot be translated into "chief procurator".
